New Truck

Well, little LuLu will be here soon so we needed to say goodbye to Brandt's black Ranger. Sorry, but there just wasn't room for two car seats and it was getting a little bumpy for me, and a little bit squishy to ride in the back with my belly. Brandt couldn't give up a truck entirely so he set out to find the perfect family truck and wouldn't you know it he found one in a day. He found it on Monday, but wasn't exactly sure this was what we needed or wanted so he held off; until Friday when we drove off the lot in it. We are in love! It is roomy for Brandt and for mama's with big bellies. Plenty of room in the back for one or two more car seats. A tailgate that opens, windows that roll up and down, a sun roof, and even a bench seat in the front in case I want to snuggle. Oh yes, I'm a dork, but if Brandt gets a truck he has to let me have my way sometimes. When we were at the car lot Eddy demanded a red truck and he usually gets his way, but he is putting up with silver for now. He loves going on bumpy rides, getting ice-cream cones, and now his new favorite is going to the movies. We tested out our new ride at the drive-in last night and had a blast. We set up the air mattress, loaded up the back with pillows and treats and had a great time. Now Eddy can't wait to put LuLu's car seat in the back and take her on bumpy car rides too.
